Established in 2020 in Las Vegas, Boy Meets Wine brings 10+ years of beverage experience to our customers & guests. Our goal is to bring you and your guests great wines in a private sommelier-led tasting or event in a fun, professional and approachable way.
What We Do
Boy Meets Wine is a private in-home wine tasting & event service that will handle all of your needs for your wine tasting or event. We'll bring the wines and the glassware, handling everything from setup to service to cleanup. You just sit back, sip and relax! Virtual wine tastings included.

About Boy Meets Wine
Chris Abelarde, Founder & Sommelier
Boy Meets Wine (a play off of the 90's sitcom Boy Meets World) has made a career off of sniffing, sipping and serving wine while traveling through the best vineyards & wineries in the United States.
Starting at the ripe age of 21 managing a beverage department at one of the largest and most luxurious hotel properties on the Las Vegas Strip, Chris made it his mission to taste as many wines as possible, read as many wine books and meet as many people in the wine business he could.
Over the last 10+ years Chris has been honing his wine tasting skills and staying on top of his wine studies in order to bring a unique wine tasting experience to our guests. He even went to work the 2020 wine harvest in Napa Valley to really understand the more complicated aspects of winemaking!
The goal of creating our private wine tasting service is simple: to bring the vineyard and the grapes to your glass in your most comfortable setting. We realize most people don't travel to wine regions as often as we do, but they love drinking & learning about wine just as much. Boy Meets Wine gives us an opportunity to bring you a unique & private wine tasting experience to the comfort of your home or event. Let us blow your wine mind!
